Why Virtuosity?

People no longer exercise their bodies—they exercise their parts.  “Doing arms” isn’t exercise.  “Doing legs” isn’t exercise.  Squats and pull-ups are exercises.  As people separate and segregate their body parts they lose valuable opportunities to improve themselves through movement.  Humans move.  Movement is important to health.  Sedentary people are unhealthy people.  Furthermore, moving is fun.  Humans dance.  Humans play.  Humans express themselves with their bodies.  We cannot all express ourselves like Shakespeare or Paganini, but we can learn from great virtuosos and try to move towards a better body.
