We train like people used to train before exercise got dumbed down for the masses. We believe that the human body is meant to express itself in beautiful, intelligent and powerful ways. We don’t use machines; we draw from a wide variety of gymnastics and weightlifting movements and incorporate them in ways that make you stronger and more fit.

The Brooklyn Barbell Club provides 5,000 square feet of mayhem space on a cement ground floor. Lift weights, flip tires, drag sleds, swing sledgehammers, run around the 400m track conveniently located 2 blocks away… and tons more crazy fun stuff! This is an authentic CrossFit experience.
You’ll be expected to keep track of your workouts. All of our workouts are completed for time, reps, or max weight, so you’ll be able to track your progress and see yourself improving as you go — you’ll be amazed how much faster and stronger you’ll get if you stick with it, even if you’re working out just twice a week.
