Fourth of July Schedule Changes and JACINTO STORM

jacintoWe’ll be celebrating July 4th with a traditional “Jacinto Storm”. For those of you who don’t know, Jacinto is an NYC CrossFit legend — the fittest 74-year-old around!  He turns 75 on July 3rd; we’ll be completing his birthday WOD on the 4th!

If you’ve never experienced the JACINTO STORM before, get ready for some fond memories. Here’s what you’re in for:

For Time:
75 Double Unders
75 Squats
75 Push-Ups
75 Pull-Ups (or Ring Rows)
75 Wall Ball Shots, 20/14
75 Kettlebell Swings 1.5p/1p
75 Deadlifts 95/65
75 Double Unders

Please note the following schedule changes for Fourth of July weekend!

Friday, July 4th

  • All regularly scheduled classes are cancelled
  • Joey and Blanco will lead one celebratory class at 11am for all Levels during which we will complete version 75 (!) of the Jacinto Storm… enjoy!
  • Powerlifters may quietly complete their scheduled programming on the platforms during 11am class

Saturday, July 5th

  • 10am and 1pm Level 2 classes are cancelled
  • Level 1 Test Out class is rescheduled to noon
  • Olympic Weightlifting is rescheduled to 1pm.

Sunday, July 6th

  • 10am and 1pm Level 2 classes are cancelled
  • 2pm Open Gym is cancelled
  • Powerlifters and Olympic Weightlifters may quietly complete their scheduled programming on the platforms during 11am and noon classes
