Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorius triumphs, even though checkered by failure… than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer much, because they live in a gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat.

Interesting looking book on why we shouldn’t eat animals, written by a vegan. If anything it might help you learn on why you should make an effort in eating better quality meats.

Jonathan Safran Foer also wrote a piece on eating dogs.

I wish my life involved more snatches.

from the one star review of the book:

“Biology is, for better or worse, stronger than ideology in the long run (dead in the name of an ideal is still dead…”

of course science doesn’t make morality. there is nothing ideological about infusing your life with consideration of ethics at every turn, these are considerations which make us human.

anyway my opinion.. is eat meat. but can you defend it without using science?

  6. Jonathan Silverman says:

to help you consider a dietary question which is purely scientific should i eat HFCS? so the way you’d answer that question is the way you CAN’T answer the question of should i eat meat.
