Wednesday is “Ladies’ Night” here in Brooklyn, but that doesn’t mean men aren’t invited. Everyone’s welcome to come down and test their luck with one of CrossFit‘s special “Girls.” The Girl workouts are benchmarks which we use to test our athletes and measure our results against other CrossFitters around the world.
Why girl names? Coach Glassman says, “Anything that leaves you flat on your back looking up at the sky asking ‘WTF happened to me?’ deserves a female name.” Adjust your expectations accordingly!
Ladies’ Night

Five rounds, each for time of:
20 Pull-ups
30 Push-ups
40 Sit-ups
50 Squats
Rest precisely three minutes between each round.

Go Holly! Advice from this crossfitter: just keep coming in, even if you don’t feel like it. Don’t get discouraged. Make friends and just keep coming in. After a month or so, you’ll be hooked! And if you’ve come to crossfit to get in shape, to look better, to be stronger, to make friends…whatever the reason, you will achieve all of that, probably by the end of the year!
