:: Gym Superpowers: Burpees. Gretchen’s favorite workout is CrossFit Games Open 12.1 (seven minutes of burpees).

:: Loves Most About CFV: The coaching. Before she started, Gretchen feared CrossFit’s reputation and was nervous about exacerbating her injury-prone shoulders. Needless to say, she doesn’t worry anymore.

:: Origin Story: On a whim, Gretchen decided to move here from Seattle.
:: Real Life Superpowers: A great sense of direction, which she compliments by tracking the sun throughout the day.
:: Real Life Kryptonite: Popcorn. She eats half a bag every night. Her recommendations? Trader Joe’s with olive oil and Whole Food’s with sea salt.
:: You’ll Be Surprised To Know: Gretchen is a cyborg. She works remotely for Zillow, and in order to maintain her presence in the Seattle office and interact with coworkers, she uses an iPad attached to a Segway.
