:: Origin Story: Nina knew Coach Kyle from a nearby gym. When he moved to CFV, he encouraged her to join.

:: Gym Kryptonite: Double-unders (she overthinks them).
:: Favorite Workout Music: DJ Mike. Nina likes the rock ballads that she’d “never listen to in real life.”
:: Loves Most about CFV: Currently, it’s how she feels from the Whole30 Challenge. “Even when you’re feeling awful during a workout, it isn’t as awful as you know it should be.”

:: Occupation: An unstoppable force at @foodtechconnect, a platform for innovation in the food industry and also the host of monthly food innovation meet-ups in Brooklyn.
:: Hometown: Burlington, VT.
:: Years in NYC: 8.
:: Origin Story: Nina moved to the city after graduating from Skidmore.
:: Real Life Superpowers: Getting shit done. The day after the election, Nina started organizing transportation to the Women’s March in D.C. She ended up filling two, 52-person charter busses.
:: Real Life Kryptonite: Not being able to stop waxing lyrical about her job. Nina spent the first 20 minutes of our interview gushing about Food+Tech and then stopped and said, “Sorry for talking your ear off. I tend to do that.”
:: You’ll Be Surprised To Know: Nina is getting married in the Catskills on July 8. Nina and Mike met during her visit to Skidmore as a prospective student, started dating her sophomore year (his junior year), and got engaged in Acadia National Park in August of 2015. They celebrated their ten-year anniversary last October.
