If you are infected with COVID-19, you must wait 14 days after the onset of symptoms to return even if your symptoms are mild to moderate. If you have an asymptomatic case, you must wait 14 days after your positive test date.
We recommend that your return be slow even if your case was mild: there are documented cases of COVID causing lingering heart problems and life-threatening blood clots. The New York Times published a helpful article with guidance on returning to exercise. You can come to class during your recovery and work with light weights, lower reps, and/or work out for less time: talk to the coach at the beginning of class if you need to do this.
