On Thursday December 14th, we’re kicking off a 5-week CLEAN & JERK intensive with Coach Blanco! 🏋️♀️🏋️♀️
This is your opportunity to get comfortable dropping under the bar, developing your turnaround speed, and catching weight in the bottom of your front squat, as well as throwing weight over your head! If you’ve never been taught or struggle with the split jerk, here’s your chance to work on it.
Developing your clean and jerk technique will increase how much weight you can lift on heavy days, and will also improve your strength and efficiency when the clean and jerk comes up in CrossFit workouts.
All skill levels are welcome to attend: no prior experience is necessary. This intensive is suitable for weightlifters, CrossFitters, and anyone who’d like to learn more about the clean and the jerk.
Participants must commit to the full 5 weeks of Thursday 6:30pm classes, and to 2-3 hours of independent homework per week (can be completed at the gym during any class time.) There will be no drop-ins to this class, as each session will build on previous work.
This intensive is included in all memberships and counts as two classes per week. Non-members are welcome to enroll for the cost of our regular twice-a-week membership ($225 for 5 weeks.)
