Coach Sam invites you to join the lovely ladies of CrossFit Virtuosity for an ongoing women’s-only seminar series that will meet the first Saturday of each month for a strength and/or skill session. Each session will set up participants with an achievable goal and a plan to achieve it.
Our first seminar will focus on pull-ups. If you have no pull-ups, we’ll work on getting you over the bar that first time. If you have a couple pull-ups, we’ll work on increasing your strength so you can rep them out. If pull-ups are no problem for you, we’ll work on mastering more advanced variations.
To be honest, we’re going to be doing some push-ups too. If RBG does them*, all badass bitches should do them. Also, it’s good to pair a push with your pull.
Athletes will form homework groups to complete assigned programming during the week. This work will be designed to complement CrossFit classes (it is not a replacement for normal workouts.) Homework sessions will take about 30 minutes, 3 times per week.
This seminar is appropriate for both Level 1 and Level 2 athletes. It is free for non-contract unlimited members; $50 per seminar for other members; $100 per seminar for non-members.
