We will work with you to fairly resolve any issue that you might have with your membership or payments. We’re a family business run by real people who you’ll see at the gym. When you have a problem, you won’t have to try to explain it to AI, or run up against a corporate policy that makes no sense and no one seems to have the power to adjust. CAVEAT: our customer service team is very small and made up of only a couple people with lots of other things also on their plates, hence we do not answer emails as fast as robots or call centers do. We appreciate your patience!

We don’t do long term contracts or up front payments because we’ve discovered over the years that New Yorkers move a lot, even when they don’t think they’re going to, and we have zero interest in making you pay for something that you can’t use, and less than zero interest in fighting with you about it.

You can cancel at the end of any month of membership and we won’t charge you anything (except the $20 habit-breaking fee if you’re on an intro special).

We don’t require advance notice for cancellation, although if you don’t want your payment to go through please let us know at least a week before your renewal. We will refund you if your payment does go through.

If you mess up and forget to cancel, you can still cancel for a bit. We give you about a week grace period after each renewal to let us know you’ve moved etc. However we won’t refund you if you just haven’t been coming and haven’t cancelled for longer than that, because if we refunded everyone who bought a membership with best intentions and didn’t make it to the gym as much as they thought they would, we’d be out of business.

We ❤️ consistency. Our monthly memberships are heavily discounted over more flexible class packs because they’re a more reliable income stream for us, and because consistency is everything when it comes to fitness, and we like to see you get results! That means you have to use your classes within the month, and you can’t pause in the middle of a month. If you need something more flexible, please choose a class pack!
