Pregnancy & Postpartum

Being pregnant and giving birth are the most extreme physical challenges that the human body undergoes in a typical lifetime.

Our birth system does very little to help moms prepare for or recover from pregnancy or birth, never mind deal with the ongoing physical challenge of raising kids.

We’re here for that.

We help you build strength, inside and out.

Prepare your core, including your pelvic floor, for pregnancy and birth, and give those muscles extra help to recover afterwards.

Get strong before birth so you can power through your chosen birth experience, and recover quickly.

Build up your strength afterwards so that you can carry around baby and baby stuff everywhere even as baby grows really heavy!

Private
Sessions

Private sessions include bespoke programming to target your specific weaknesses, work around injuries or limitations, and address mobility restrictions.

Our postpartum coaches have many years of experience working with all ages, body types, and experience levels.

One-on-one sessions provide a higher level of accountability, which can be helpful if you have trouble finding the motivation to train!

Small
Group Sessions

Our pregnancy & postpartum small group sessions are 1 hour long, and include a warm-up and core activation routine, and strength training with a friendly group of prospective and current moms.

Your coach will provide options for each part of class based on where you are in your pregnancy or postpartum journey (and other relevant background such as what type of delivery you had.)

No experience is necessary!

Who is this program for?

Anyone who’s planning to become pregnant, is currently pregnant, or has given birth either vaginally or via c-section.

Your birth experience doesn’t have to have been recent: birth-related strength issues can linger for years and it’s never too late to work on them!

Can I bring my baby?

Yes! Babies in strollers can chill with us during sessions if you’d like to bring them, and you can always take a break if you need to care for them. We have a private space that you can use for breastfeeding if you’d like to.

Babies who can crawl (or run!) need to stay at home for safety.

Please note that although we keep the music at a lower level during our baby-friendly sessions, we may have other training happening that can involve some banging and clanging of weights.

I’m not pregnant yet but I plan to be… is it weird to sign up for this?

No, it’s smart to sign up for this!! Pregnancy is a huge challenge for your body, and the stronger you are beforehand, the easier it will be.

Specifically, the work we’ll be doing will increase the strength and suppleness of your pelvic floor, decreasing the likelihood of suffering pelvic floor related symptoms during a pregnancy and after a birth.

We’ll also improve your overall strength and endurance, setting you up for an easier time carrying around pregnancy weight, and training you for the hours or dayslong endurance event that giving birth can be.
