The Brooklyn Barbell Club Apprenticeship Program (BBCAP) is a 8-week intensive course of study in the art and science of strength and conditioning coaching. Get your application in now: we'll be selecting apprentices soon! The next apprenticeship program begins Sunday, April 10th.

Schedule Tweaking
You may have noticed that our class schedule has changed ever-so-slightly. We've mixed things up a little bit to make the schedule flow better!
Introducing On Ramp
Our brand new, beefed-up intro program, On Ramp, will begin Monday, March 15th. On Ramp is designed to familiarize participants with the movements, skills, and intensity of CrossFit. It'll run 3 times a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday at 7pm) for 4 weeks: that's 12 little slices of workout heaven, just for you!

Movements with more than two or three major positions or transition points are significantly more complex to teach. I generally categorize movements into three levels of complexity: simple, intermediate, and complex.

Morning Class Schedule Change

More Certification!
We're happy to announce that our February CrossFit Level 1 certification sold out so fast that we've added a second one: Saturday, April 3 and Sunday, April 4. There is no pre-requisite to attending this cert. Attendees will learn CrossFit’s methods, concepts, and movements to continue independent and successful development as a CrossFit trainer or athlete.
